Tina Coldicott – Account Manager

I joined Gemstone some years ago and take great pleasure in helping people in genuine financial difficulties. I take particular satisfaction when I receive calls from customers who have just had bad news from creditors and I can resolve the situation and call them back with the good news. I don’t have too many hobbies however am particularly good at shopping and would love to do more of it!

Marianne Davis – Financial Solutions Team Leader

I joined the team in 2010 and most enjoy designing solutions for our customers that help them see the light at the end of the tunnel. I also enjoy watching films and have been known to have full conversations just in film quotes. My other passions are of course my family and my beautiful black Labrador.

Alex Ronald – Administrator

I have worked at Gemstone since 2006 and love helping people to live their lives easier by relieving the stress caused by debt. I also enjoy the close bond between all the staff and how we all work together to achieve great results. Outside of work I spend most my time entertaining my young daughter and take great enjoyment socializing with my friends.

Anne Guvener – Administrator

I joined the team back in 2005 and am an essential part of the support team for our account managers. I love being part of a great team and take great enjoyment in knowing the part we play in helping people in financial difficulty can make big differences to the lives of our customers.

Nitika Gurung

I joined the team because I like the fact that Gemstone is a very ethical company, and also that the others involved here have vast industry knowledge and experience. This shows in their professional approach when dealing with clients and creditors. When not working I like to relax by socialising, travelling and cooking.

Marion Orton

I have over 20 years experience in Financial Services, previously as an Account Manager with Scottish Widows and a Business Financial Advisor & Relationship Manager with a major bank. I am passionate about helping customers though good and bad times. I particularly love the ethics, colleagues, reputation and the team spirit at Gemstone. I like spending time with family and friends and also enjoy socialising, dancing and my holidays.

Chris Mountney

The reason I like working for Gemstone is the satisfaction of helping our clients getting a better deal out of their creditors and getting them on the road to being debt free. My spare time is taken up with decorating at the moment, but I do like a run - when I can. Also I'm a big fan of football.

Heather Morgan

I like the friendly work atmosphere at Gemstone plus the team work means we are all helping people sort out their debts. When I'm not at work I enjoy horse riding, swimming, keeping fit (ha ha), music and watching the mighty West Bromwich Albion!

Madiha Tariq

I love that feeling when I've been able to sort an issue for a customer and called them back up re the status, and have them thank me for taking the stress away from them! I'm an avid fan of painting and sports and love travelling.

Becky Clarke

I am an Account Manager at Gemstone and, although I have not worked here all that long, I am thoroughly enjoying getting to know all of our customers. I love the fact that we have a great team bond at Gemstone and I hope that shows in the service we provide. My favourite part of my role is being able to put a smile on the faces of our customers when I confirm they are debt free - it's a great feeling! In my spare time, I like to spend time with my family and friends, read books, watch films and go to the local pub quiz (which we usually do pretty badly in).

Deanne Thorpe – Accounts Administrator

I joined the team at Gemstone in 2004 and enjoy my role in the accounts department. In my spare time I enjoy seeing my partner’s band performing.

Daren Hastings – IT Manager

I joined Gemstone in late 2004 and love the variety of challenges that my job presents to me; there seems to be something new every day. I’m keen on running, having run several half marathons and also enjoy reading, travelling, music and collecting bills!

Alan Stiles – ICT Development & Support

I joined in 2008 and spend most my time developing and implementing new ideas for our IT system, however take great pleasure in getting to the cause of those “technical problems” and creating a solution for it. As well as fixing computers I enjoy dancing, archery and of course drinking real ale.

Sharon Hall – Head of Compliance

I joined Gemstone back in 2003 and have been involved in many areas of the business. I enjoy being busy and continually get involved in new and diverse projects to help the company grow and ensure all our customers receive great service. I also love to read and listen to music as well as spending time with my loved ones.

Clive Margetts - Managing Director

Having founded Gemstone in 2001 I look back and consider myself very fortunate to have worked with so many outstanding professionals. It gives me great pride to lead such a dedicated team of talented individuals, who are committed to assisting the many vulnerable UK consumers that we deal with on a daily basis. Over time Gemstone has assisted many thousands of people, and my greatest pleasure is when we receive a letter of thanks from someone who considers that we have been instrumental in improving their life. I spend most of my spare time with my two adorable children, and I both participate and spectate in several sports. I am an avid supporter of Aston Villa football club and the Warwickshire 'Bears' cricket team.

Neil Bowler – Finance Director

I have been part of Gemstone since its inception and have a very active role in many areas of the business. My passion for detail and doing things right has led me into many areas including becoming a Director of the Debt Resolution Forum and now have a key role to play in setting the standards for our industry to follow. Allthough I have a busy work life I still manage to find time for my mountain biking, adventure racing, walking and on occasions my allotment.
