About the Debt Resolution Forum (DRF)

The DRF represents firms of debt advisers and solutions providers that voluntarily adhere to standards that go beyond the minimum regulatory requirements. In short, it sets the standards for others to follow.

Quality advice is of paramount importance when a consumer is seeking debt advice, and to this end the DRF has developed the BTEC Advanced Certificate in Debt Resolution which has been accredited by Edexcel. All member firms must place customer facing staff on this extensive course, which helps to ensure that only appropriate advice is given.

Regular audits are carried out by the DRF in addition to all the standard regulatory reviews, ensuring the exceptional standards of the membership are maintained.
