Our FREEDOM PLAN is a Debt Management Plan - a simple but effective method of repaying all of your unsecured creditors through a single affordable payment.
Your plan allows for your living expenses (mortgage / rent, gas, electricity and other utility bills, council tax, food etc.) with the money you have left going towards repaying your unsecured debts.
This will depend on the amount you owe and also the amount you are able to pay into your plan each month. Unlike loans, your repayments are directly linked to your ability to pay. The length of time can also be affected by the concessions (suspended interest, for example) we are able to negotiate with your creditors.
Occasionally our clients may receive a lump sum - a redundancy package, inheritance or maturing life policy for example. Clients often take the view that unless there are sufficient funds to clear all their debts, it's not worth making any money available to their Creditors. However, when a customer is known to be experiencing financial difficulties, Creditors may agree to accept a lump sum lower than the balance outstanding to totally clear the debt. We have a team of negotiators specially trained to deal with these situations & have an excellent track record at agreeing better than 'pound for pound' settlements for our clients.
